Restore Kodi backup to Open Elec

Hi Folks, I have an Mxiii working fine. I am using kodi on it. I got a MK808B Plus and flashed it with open elec. Is there a way of copying some folder from my Mxiii onto open elec to save me having to set up everything again?

Yes there is, you need to download xbmc backup from program addons and SET IT UP (c or menu button): Browse to the backup folder (added by you) and select what things you want backed up. Once done, open the addon (click on it) and from the popup menu select backup. That's it. Then in OpenElec machine you need to copy the folder of the backup to it, then download xbmc backup addon and do the same procedure BUT INSTEAD select what you want to have restored and browse for backup folder you just copied. fInally open the xbmc backup addon and from the popup menu select restore.

tried it last night veronica and was getting script errors, will try it again tonight though, i did take the check make out of the compress option and no joy

what version is your kodi and what version is your OpenElec. if kodi is gotham and openelec is helix then there will be trouble off course

i will check later, this is not when i try and restore, its just trying the inial backup i got script errors
