    Few Questions ...

Hi , i want to purhcase a android tv box and i think the nagrace one is the best on the market. I want to buy the new box with HDMI 2.0 but i have a few questions before ordering the box.

1- does hph plays HD audio passtrough (via hdmi or spdif) with XBMC or i have to use SPMC or something else ??
2- any 23.976 fps micro-stuttering issue ? or playing fine ? (like the open hour)
3- support of my logitech harmony 650 remote ?
4- any hope for dolby atmos and DTS:X support in future ? (zappity player with realtek Soc support atmos)
5- any parental control apps will work on this box ? (ex: Qustodio)

6- can i just keep the latest firmware or do i need to install mo123 roms to fix all those things ?

Sorry for my english i did my best

Thnk you for your help !

    1. Use SPMC
    2. Havn't experienced any stuttering, but some 24 fps videos do have some problems but on most Android devices.
    3. There are instructions here - http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...her-3288-boxes
    4. I don't think at the moment but with Lollipop firmware or Windows 10 firmware to be released, maybe.
    5. Yes, all apps run very smoothly and you won't have a problem.
    6. I will release new firmware this week with some tweaks, optimizations from stock ROM.

Do i have to edit the spmc externalplayer xml file to make it work with HD audio ? (http://wiki.openhourlab.com/index.php/XBMC_/_Kodi ...bottom of the page) ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRz9bqJDL6E ) cause in the open hour forum Koying (spmc developper) said he didnt receive the source code from rockchip to make HD audio enabled in spmc

        &

since open hour and hph box is based on the same Soc i still dont understand why the open hour is so buggy with HD audio and 23.976 stuttering and not the hph ?

You can create a playercorefactory.xml file from here - http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Use_ext...ers_on_Android and replace video player with 'RockVideoPlayer' to play HD Audio with built-in video player.
Rockchip's compiled XBMC from last year also used the same method before 4K hardware acceleration was possible.
HD Audio in built-in video player was only released 3 weeks ago.

The openhour uses SD-Cards while HPH uses internal Samsung EMMC Storage which is much faster and helps with high bitrate videos.

I can't seem to get Dolby ATMOS to work but will keep on trying.

Seems lots of people have force closes with ATMOS.
Maybe we have to wait for a newer version or try again when Lollipop is released.
