Mk809 II instructions doesn't match..

Thank you for your answer, I loadedte RK rive assistant but it still fails ? What I supposed to do once I installed the tool, nothing particular right? The device shoulde recognized by Windows?

OK guys, I found the solution, I missed the step where I've to put the paper clip before plugging the micro-USB

no no no, it still does not work . Windows 7 recognizes the peripheric, I've then installed the Rockship Assistant Driver but I see in the "gestionnaire de périphérique" (sorry my computer is in French and I don't know the translation) I can see the Rockship driver with a "?" ==> I can still not communicate with my key MK809. Did I install the right driver? For those who use Windows 7, how did you do to communicate with the dongle?

In the Device Manager if a device shows a "?" ... would mean that the drive IS NOT installed properly... and this is why it can not communicate with the device. ( FYI... a "!" indicates another problem with the device... just so you know and if you ever see it. )

The following instructions should work with Windows XP and newer system and hasn't changed much.

Open Device Manager
Select the device with the ? on it.
Double click to open or right click and select Properties.
Select the Driver's tab
Click on the Update Driver button

It will attempt to find the drivers but will not be able to so... When it gets to the point and asks if you want to locate it on the computer... point it at the folder that contains the drivers for the device you are adding.


Please note... drivers are not files with ".exe", ".zip" or ".rar" extentions....
