Two VSMART Q8 FIRMWARES FOR TEST

I just found two firmware for this cheap RK3288 box. Anyone succeeded running lubuntu with GPU acceleration on this device? Since the firefly dev board is very similar to this one. I wonder if we can dual boot Kitkat and lubuntu with this box. Anyway the firmwares posted below.

I personally haven't used lubuntu in my q8, because I prefer Android. I am currently using the RKM MK902II latest firmware on my q8 and works fine (except the remote that I don't use). I will try to find some time to test this one, though I am very happy with my current setup.

      Hi skelton,

Which version of Q8 do you have?
How did you in install the RKM fw?

      Thanks!

XT-Q8L-V10 is my board. I use the latest from Ricomagic webpage. Also, latest ENY EKB328 firmware is also compatible with this board and runs fine. To install it, just use RK Batch Tool with Restore option.

I have the same board type. What does the sticker show on your board?
          Mine is "WW236 ST".
Do you know that version is compatible with latest Ricomagic/ENY EK328 fw?
Which Ricomagic fw are you using? MK902II?

          Thanks!

Your board is different, so it seems you have to use this one:

Did you use this FW here on your QT-Q8L-V10?

              I own a ENY-BOX Clone:
              Chipset: RK3288 & AP6330
              PCB board: ENY-Q8P-V10

Label: OTT TV BOX RK3288 Quad Core Model: EKB328
More Info and photos of pcb here.
              Bootloader seems t.b. locked.
But Android 5 (wasser rc4) runs on it

Yes, I used that some time ago and worked fine, but I don't have this box anymore, so no idea is there are ofther newer firmwares than that.
