What's the newest firmware? (Been sleeping for 6 months)

I've been out of the loop for a bit and I'm trying to catch up on things. I've been using wasser 1.04 and last time I checked Minix released 010.

Now I find Minix has released Kitkat 2.3.0

Is that the newest firmware? Any issues? Does it run well?

I don't see anything new in the custom ROM section, though I may be missing something.

I am using Kitkat 2.3.0 with my x7. I am very happy and i advice to use this firmware.

Minix has released latest firmware 240. Seems to be working well. Go video support though my setup is pretty simple. Recommend full flash rather than simple OTA update. Always makes a cleaner install.
