QUESTION ABOUT FULLY UN-ROOTING MY MK808b

    Greetings

As the tithe says..Is there any way to fully unroot my mk808b android tv box?

I am using the official update_mk808b_v407j2404_overseas.img (latest official image) which comes pre-rooted. I used to have finless's 1.7 rom, but i changed it to the original one.

So, is there any way to fully unroot it??

PS: The reason is because i have downloaded an app (video live streaming with pay per view) which every time i am trying to watch live video content an error appears:

“The device appears to be rooted. Error code 107011”

So i need to have a "clear" firmware. Is this possible?

Here are some solutions that you can try: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...ing-the-mk808b

I have not tried these but as long as you have a working method of reflashing in case something goes wrong, I wouldn't imagine there is much risk in attempting them.

You should also be able to unroot it by clicking on superSU/setting scroll to almost at the bottom then click on Full unroot

Prahjister - any suggestions to apps that work? I have tried "Hide My Root" and even Xposed framework with RootCloak all to no joy (I have a ProBox 2 EX). I personally need to unroot the ProBox as the Sky Go application wont work with a rooted device - the ProBox comes rooted which is great apart from these stupid apps thinking everyone is out to steal their copyright (yet hardly any other streaming apps, including NetFlix, care about a rooted unit).
I have even tried using the Full Unroot from inside SuperSU but that doesnt work at all for me
