Instabox MX4 /CX-S806 issues during FW update (download meson, bricked,...)

    Hi

My Phantom MX4 arrived today and I’ve done the first configuration. It feels nice. Then I wanted to update the firmware to the latest version. I’ve download the firmware and the usb burning tool from the Instabox homepage. But as I tried to update the firmware as it is described in the manual, the process stopped at 5% (“download meson”) with Result:[0x30403003]UBOOT/Partition meson/Download buffer / data transfer.
Now the unit is not booting anymore! Did someone has this issue too? I thought it is a power issue and tried it with an Y-usb-cable, and in a second try with the MX4 power supply on. Without success. I attached a log file from the update tool...

    Thanks from Germany
    Michael

Hi Michael, I have also an MX4 and used the fw from March from their homepage. I did everything from their website as instructed. No additional power (only make sure you use the OTG port on the mx4. And everything went smooth the 1st time. I used a micro USB cable from my windows tablet and USB A on the MX4. So I experienced absolutely no problems when I followed their instruction. GL

Thank you for your support and sorry for the delayed answer..

I tried really "everything". Nothing works. I even bought me a high quality USB cable and pugged directly nto my desktop PC without using a hub or so.

this is the answer from the Instbox support:

"We would like to advise you to use a usb stick to have a try, and the
files are the same as usb otg cable. Please ignore the google cloud as
those files are the same as the zip files you download before. Also
you can download the files via the below link but choose the usb stick
      updating firmware.

      "

I tried it too, without success. I'm really disappointed right now.

This it it was it still looks like:

Is there any way to unbrick the unit? Has anyone the same problem?

      BR,
      Michael
