Any repair shops people in Thailand. Need to see if my box is rooted. Trying to download gigabyte lan Ethernet adapter rj45 driver.can not open any files. Will pay all costs to have box looked at.

I don't know if the GB Ethernet adapter (I think we talk about USB?) will work at the existing kernel...
If the GB Ethernet adapter and/or its driver will work, I think you should have to setup it manually at terminal (e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...al.androidterm ) because the Android settings only know the internal Ethernet adapter eth0

- Disable WiFi and Ethernet under Android settings.
- Have the USB ethernet adapter plugged in to a USB port
- Verify that an eth1 device exists for the USB adapter ("/system/xbin/ifconfig -a" with busybox). None should have an IP address at this stage.
- Run "netcfg eth1 dhcp" (or configure the interface manually with /system/xbin/ifconfig and /system/xbin/route from busybox).
