Before some days I was asking for an UBOX Amlogic S805 that I have won from Coolicool, but unfortunately I got no answer. Nevertheless, the Tv Box arrived, so I'll make here an presentation for these users that might have it or are thinking to obtain it and have the same questions as me and can't find any answers in the internet.

As you can see in the unboxing video, the package contains the tv box, an HDMI cable, the power supply which is for EU (usually items from China want adapter, but this doesn't), remote control and instruction in English! When we get all out and connect it to the tv this is what we see for the first time.
As you can see on the left we have time/date and place as also a short weather description. Above there is an image of XBMC, from where we are running Kodi 14.2, below the image for the browsing in the internet, Google Playstore of course, on the right Your Favorites programs, which you decide who they will be, bottom left we see an percentage, which by pressing it we release memory by killing unwanted apps, the image with the dots takes us to the full list of apps installed in the tv box, a file manager next to it and finally the image of 2 gears, in order to enter the options section. Of course the data (town, weather, correct time/date) are shown after we connect our tv box to the net, through our home network. So let us enter the option section, by pressing the image with the 2 gears.
This is the first page we see by entering the option section. Here we can connect our Tv Box with our home network. I have connected it with my Xiaomi Mini router that I have, wireless at 2.4GHz. Unfortunately it doesn't connect at 5GHz, that my router support. Next page...
Here we control the display. My TV supports 1080p, so I set the Ubox at 1080p 60Hz. This had to be done manually, as automatically it was set at 720p. The rest was left untouched in the display option page. Next page....
Here is the advance section. Here we can control the audio output, how it will be, pcm, through HDMI or SPDIF.
Last page Other. Here we can see info about the Ubox.
As we can see Ubox S805 has Kit Kat (4.4.2), Build Number 110k4 which is the latest for this model. Of course by pressing the System Update you can always check if you are up to date or not!
By pressing More Settings, we enter the more detailed section of the options, from where we can change/modify everything as if it was an ordinary android mobile
The Tv Box when it came, except from the apps that had to be updated, as whole it was updated, as the image below shows. And of course we see that it really with Kit Kat, by seeing the special K
