Is my tablet a Cube Talk 9X?

So I received this tablet from a company I am doing some consulting for, and it's totally unbranded. It has an MT8392 octacore chip (728.0 - 1664.0) 2gb RAM, a 9.7 inch 2048 x 1536 display, mali 450mp gpu, sim card slot, expandable memory, a 2.2 mp front cam, a 5 mp back cam , and runs Kit Kat 4.4.2. Looks just like an iPad Air 2. Everything points to this device being a Cube Talk 9x, but what's weird is when I cant get Lepi ROMS to boot on it. 1.8 ROMS say installation successful, but goes black after a few seconds of boot screen and never fully boot. 2.0 ROMS install and actually boots into Android fine, but the touchscreen doesnt work. It's making me wonder if some subtle difference in proprietary drivers (or something else) is keeping it from working. I attached a few photos of the tablet (I got it rooted and I themed it a bit, and just made a deodexed/zipaligned flashable zip from stock ROM). Could anyone actually confirm if they think it's a Cube Talk 9X or not, and if yes, maybe give me a few suggestions as to why Lepi ROMS aren't working for me? (Sorry pics are so massive. Lol. I fought 20 minutes with getting them on here)

          Thanks for replying.

          What makes you think that?

I believe that it is non-branded Onda V919 3G Air. Note that there are two version of that Onda tablet. One with MT8392 and the other with Intel Bay-Trail Z3736F. MT8392 version is pretty similar device than Cube Talk 9X. Check out the speakers and home button.

              You're right! Thanks for this!

I managed to port the Cube ROMS pretty easily to this device, so they must be really similar.

You are welcome. Feel free to share your ported roms here at Freaktab if you want to. Just give gredits to original developer by mentioning his/her name. Some people might enjoy for example Lepi's rom on their Onda .

Sure thing! I have managed to get one Lollipop white themed ROM and one black one ported over, and they are working great. Just had to patch the system and change a few libs to get camera going, but it wasn't hard to do. Will try to get them uploaded here over the next days.

Curious...can only the Intel version dual boot Windows 8? Just wondering if its possible to get dual boot up and running with the MT8392 version. Im assuming only Intel version would support both, but just thought I would double check.

Windows tablets are basically just like Windows PC (excluding Windows RT devices). So you can boot Windows 8 and even Windows 10 because Microsoft will let every Windows 7 and Windows 8 devices to upgrade to Windows 10. I think that Windows and dual boot (Windows+Android) is only for tablets with Intel chips. So you can't dual boot (Windows+Android) your MT8392 device. However, dual boot (Android+Android) can be possible (link1, link2).
