VSMART Q8 revision Q8L-WW236 ST modified Ricomagic firmware

Hi, guys!

This is Ricomagic RKM 902 II "MK902II_150401" firmware which adopted to new revision of VSMART Q8 - "ww236 st".
Till now only RKM worked for prevoius hardware version of Q8.

AND YOU INSTALL ON YOUR OWN RISK. JUST READ ALL BELOW CAREFULLY:

Whats declared by RKM and shoud work:
1 - Update the blue ray library,audio track can be switched.
2 - Support BD ISO 3D playback.
3 - Fixed Keyboard/Mouse lag issue.
4 - Fix some Incompatible problems of some apps in Google play store.
5- Update ffmpeg video libary,fixed some blurred screen issue.
6- Optimize USB camera
7- Update root code.
8- Default HDMI CEC turn on.
9 - Passthrough spmc and kodi fixed.
10 - Iperf wifi program installed stock.
11 - Improved wifi perferance.
12 - Improved performance for Video
13.- Support ext4 format u disk and exfat sd card
14.- Fix some 4k -h.265 problems.
15.- Better browser support.

What added:
16. - There are 3 launchers added
17. - Hardware encoding support for all video formats
18. - Original remote control fully supported
19. - Optionally you can flash for 3.8 Gb system size, just use during flashing firmware parameter file from par4free folder

What currently not working:
1. - Wifi display not properly work
2. - Power off from Android menu cause restart instead power off. But can be used sleep mode, just press "Power off" hardware button for sleep.

IMPORTANT - NOT WORKING for:
XT-Q8L-V10 2014-09-02 with label Q8L 8G/2G XT20140919395 ST
ENY-Q8P-V10 2014-09-02 with label Q8P 8G/2G XT20140919395 ST

If you try to flash these models you'll brick your device, and need to use maskROM flash mode with original firmware for models above

HOW TO FLASH:
1. Power off your device, unplug the AC adapter
2. Install Rockchip drivers from here http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php...download-here/
3. Plug in MicroUSB cable into microUSB slot on your device.
4. Run AndroidTool.exe from firmware archive above
5. Press R hidden button with thin stick and hold
6. Plugin USB cable in your computer
7. You must see Android tool window with "Found One LOADER Device"


8. Release R hidden button and press Run button on the AndroidTool software and wait for firmware ends
9. After flashing device can restart several times with message "Optimizing apps". This is normal situation.

Hi, this compatible only for ww236 ST revision.
You can't install on your device.

You can install pure Ricomagic RKM 902 II firmware, but mpeg4 hardware encoding, some other hardware encoding and remote conroller will not work.

Do you used poper software installed?
I never tested 3D.

You DO not need reflash ful firmware, just check only resource and kernel as shown below:




PLEASE SAY IF 3D working with these resource and kernel. You can revert back to previous kernel same way.

But REMOTE not work with that kernel, but power off works.

For try to watch 3d.iso i used: internal player, kodi 15, mx player.
all play only in 2d

You will probably brick your device.
Better to save and buy a RK3229 or RK3399 in a few weeks when it gets released from a different manufacturer.
