[Request] Stock Firmware for Tronsmart MK808B Plus with AP6212 WiFi chip

Hi,

So I just got this new TV stick Tronsmart MK808B+ and stupidly flashed Finless firmware without ever doing a NANDROID first.

Turned out that WiFi/BT does not work afterwards ( cannot even turn on )

Popped out the casing and found that my unit is Rev3, having the new AP6212 wireless chip.

Checked around the net and all the firmwares i've found is for AP6210 or other chip, so still no WiFi for me.

Could anybody who has this particular unit please share with me the firmware/link to it. Stock or custom no issues to me. As long as it's Android.

Cause i've tested latest OpenELEC stable, and WiFi worked flawlessly, alas its a Linux not Android.

None of those will work with the ap6212.

If it doesn't work you will have to wait until new firmware is released. I believe they are shipping with 111k4 but I can't seem to find a download link anywhere.

You can get the stock 110k4 firmware from tronsmart site here: http://www.tronsmart.com/download-ce...08b-plus-110k4 and then OTA update to 111k4. Eric

Of course you could only OTA however if you have a USB ethernet adaptor, as you wouldn't have wifi.

thanks guys for the suggestions. ididmytime was right 109k4 wont work with newer ap6212 chip. alas so does 110k4.

tried the usb ethernet as per eric's suggestion, network works fine however am getting that "Check failed! Check your OTA Servier Argent" error upon update.

guess have to live with 110k4 until 111k4 for s805 is released.

You need the wireless update apk from another tronsmart box. I have literally just done the same thing. No apk on my brand new 110k4, but I had it on my tronsmart mxiii, so apk extractor, transfer it, install it, check for updates and..... It downloaded 0.18mb update. I don't think it will help u but it will update it. If you extract the update zips you can see which WiFi chips are supported

Hello, if you haven't solved yet, I've found on geekbuying 111k4 version for tronsmart stick. I updated yesterday my no brand stick with ap612 wifi chip, and works fine

Hi Guys.
So i flashed the finless Rom 1.1 to my mk808b plus but with the wifi issue i am now stuck as i have the new tronsmart stick byt when i boot to recovery i get the finless recovery and it wont allow any image to be applied, how can i get it back to factory ?

had a similar story, I wrongly flashed my Tronfy telos TV BOX with the kitkat rom and now my Android 5.1 has been degraded to Android 4.2, kinda sad story, but now I can not find the lollipop firmware, anyone has a clue?

Absolutely agree with "fromeo" tested and still very happy with 111k4 build 2015.07.03, i have AP6212 wifi chip, works wifi and usb-lan adapter with best results. I have tryed several custom roms, lokk nice Unofficial CyanogenMOD 12 for MK808B-Plus -but very laggy was for me and no wifi, but usb-lan adaptor works sometimes,
