    No signal to tv MK808b

    Hey all,

Yesterday I received my mk808b (including rc11). I plugged in all connections properly (poweradapter to usb, mini hdmi to hdmi tv). The leds light up correctly (blue on the stick red on the power adapter). But my tv receives no signal.
I searched a bit online and people are having trouble setting the correct resolution based on the tv. However i cannot test this because I only have 1 tv with hdmi ports.
I have tested the hdmi cable with by asus tablet and there is no problem.
I also would not like to switch kernel or rom on day one just to get the stuff working :-(

    Any suggestions?

Try holding the reset button while you plug it into the powersupply. See if you can get anything on screen that way.
    - UG007-II with Finless iMito MX1/2 1.7a ROM and UG802 2Dark4U 1080p overclock kernel and USB WIFI dongle.
    - MK808 with Finless MK808 1.7c ROM and 2Dark4U 1.4 MK808 1080p overclock kernel.
    - MK908-II: XBMC full 1080p playback with a 1080p kernel HERE

Thanks for the reply. Will try that as soon as I get home.
      Just so we're clear:
      1. unplug poweradapter
      2. use pin to click & hold the reset button
      3. plugin poweradapter while holding reset button.
      4. check screen

      Is this what you mean?

That wont work as the HDMI output is off when in flash mode.

I think you have a bad HDMI cable! The stick should read your HDMI EDID and adjust accordingly!

MK808 because it has a mini HDMI, the cable is harder to make and I have had 2 bad cables so far from China.

I have tested the same cable with my TF101 tablet and there is no problem there. Output is displayed correctly to the tv.
          Maybe it's because my tv has a 1366 x 768p resolution? (philips 32PFL7332)

This the way to enter in recovery mode. you must see a android logo with a red exclamation, but i fear that the recovery kernel uses the same resolution like the original kernel. If you don't see anything in this way (well suggested Abducted) I suggest you try to configure in the tv the hdmi input, some tvs have this configuration, if it didn't work too maybe your unit come with a nand corruption so you must reflash it with original rom or any custom rom (Actually I suggest Finless roms, some improvements about the stock one and better stability).

Hopefully I can test it on a different tv tonight.
If that does not work i'll try the reset function
If that does not work i'll consider flashing the original rom.
I located the downloadfile on geekbuying. Is there any guide available on how to flash the original rom?

Yeah that's what i was aiming for, just to see if he gets any output at all. Without the stick beeing connected to a PC it should go from flash mode into recovery mode right?

                  Gents,

After the first test on another tv, the mk808b worked immediatly. So i have set the resolution output to 720 (instead of 1920*XXX 1080p) and now the stick also works on my older tv.
So the cause was that the tv could not handle the output from the stick (to high or simply incompatible I don't know).

Kr and thanks for the tips

                      Hi all,

I'm new here. Sorry for the use of a translator, I do not speak good English.
6 months ago I use a MK808B without new rom and root. Clone: Netxeon MK808B_V3.0, AnTuTu 13500. Has worked perfectly well.
A week ago I bought a Q7, the MK put it in the drawer.
Yesterday I brought to my work, plugged in to TV: NO SIGNAL. ???
I got home, plugged in the TV. NO SIGNAL. What happened?
It flash a new rom (Finless 1.7cm). NO SIGNAL.
Then I read, it is not compatible, because clone.
New ROM: ZeroDevices B2. NO SIGNAL.

I do not understand what happened. The LED is lit, the computer finds and treats.

TV: Samsung LE32B, has worked with him.

                      Please help me!

                        Hi all,

I tried another HDMI cable, did not work. 3 TV is plugged in, it did not work (full HD and HD ready). I have changed power supply is to see if the old is dead. Neither worked. One TV was usb, that gave him power: negative.

The blue LED lights, heats up when plugged like work. Computer recognizes it is running the flashtool, OK in the end.

                        What can I do??

                        Please help me!!!
