i think they have different wifi chipset, so maybe you will get the wifi stop working, be careful.

"The CX-919 has some different version, like 2G RAM version, 1G ram version, but we better like the 2G version for better performance. both of them all use the AP6210 wifi chipset."

So according to you it's the AP6210 chip on the CX-919, according to you as-well is the AP6210 on the MK908 (( the XDA-DEV forum post )), also according to others, the mk908 is AP6210.

So I'm not an expert, but isn't that the same WiFi/Bluetooth chipset? or is the model number of the chipset not enough?

I'm also interested in this, apart from the physical differences (external antenna) what are the differences between Mk 908 and CX 919? Are they exactly the same inside? Can they use each others ROMs?

Where did you see that? I didn't find it on corporate site anyway.

Tronsmart one is 5 bucks more and shows 4.2.2 not 4.1.1, the amount of different sticks is bad enough already without throwing even more clones in there.

This is now Tronsmart branded and $70.
I guess the competition with the slickdeals price of $63 may have caused the temporary price drop.
