Hi, its a well know problem..
Its the amlcodec that outputs only 1080p
      -just disable it..

Results, are also dependant on what version of kodi..you are using

      Hmm..wait i remember again,
You (johnoo) and me...allready reported this bug to oman (24:11:2014)

mitchell4you, Disabling amlcodec introduces a whole load of other problems,
like picture stutter after 30 mins, etc ..

also without amlcodec, if you stop playback and start another video/stream
the box defaults to software decoding, which is unusable for HD.

Disabling amlcodec is like removing the main engine from a truck
and trying to run the truck on a small motorbike engine, not really a solution.

109k4 firmware works great, but Wifi does not work with new boxes cause of different Wifi chip.

the factory change the wifi module from ap6210 to ap6212. so just ask them to add the correct wifi drivers base on 109k4, and it can work well? 109k4 don't have such problem you are talking?
          Looking for developers

Geekbuying, picture issue when Connected to TV at 720p ,(only thing that`s left), should not be a big problem for the developers to fix,
its just one of the those things easily overlooked.

what version of Kodi are you using to compare? is the one installed in the ROM or are you using the apk from www.kodi.tv. I ask cuz I always uninstall the one in the ROM and install the one from the site and haven't seen any issue your experiencing with my 111k4 stick.

hey, I was experiencing the same issue. fortunately kodi is now in google play. just uninstall the pre-installed version and install it from scratch (isengard right now). it works ok for me now. cheers.
