Has anybody tried or managed to upgrade their Bing copy of Windows to Pro buy using a purchased key?

So it looks as if you have to a clean install and no ability to update solely with a key.
Perhaps it is due to the key being embedded in the hardware.

Yes from what I understand the key in the bios will only work with windows 8.1 bingPlease consider making a Donation to freakTabComment

You have to reinstall Windows form Pro's ISO and apply the correct license key.
Direct upgrade from Bing version is not available
