Teclast X98 Air 2 does not power on - No help from GEEKBUYING

Hello,

I need someone's help. This tablet does not power on anymore after less than four months of use. I tried to charge it using another known good power supply of the same type but it won't even get warmed. This was purchased from Geekbuying but unfortunately I did not get any reply from their aftersales support. I welcome all ideas that me help solving this problem. I thought I have one year warranty but I was cheated.

I got the reply from geekbuying. They gave me some steps to follow but none has worked. That was two days ago. Now I'm still waiting for their next action plan.

Reading on some Chinese forums (Chrome Translation) it seems like there is plenty of probs with micro USB-slots and batteries !

Hi Olis

Sorry for the late reply. They told me to have it fixed at my local shop. So I brought it there and since there's no reset button they opened the tablet and drained the battery using a LED and recharged it again but still it did not work. Now I'm told by GB that the warranty maybe void because I opened the tablet. Can you believe that? I'm going to send it back to them but I won't be expecting a good result. Most probably it will be lost on the shipping.
