X8-h plus tweaking? Who has done it, and what?

I'm making a very heavy ( image and memory wise ) app based on leanback library for android tv, which I'd like to tweak to enhance user experience.

Running it on the minix neo x8h plus.

Some things I'd like to improve, and wonder if people have tested this successfully over time?


Dalvik.heapsize - standard is 384mb. I'm considering raising it to 1gb. Anyone did this already?

Cpu min frequency + performance governor - anyone done this over time? Results?

Disk i/o speed -- quite low compared to other high end devices. Any tweaks?

Mediaplayer buffer size -- seems very high ? Loading times compared to my e.g rk3188 is 3 times longer on same streamed content.

Tcp -- improvements?



Love the x8h plus so far, but would like to optimize it as much as possible.
