OTT M8S Android 4.4 TV Box Amlogic S812 2G/8G Set Top Box

Hi,

I'm new to this whole android box thing and was wondering if there was firmware for a box I purchased, also if it would in fact be useful to even install it. It came pre loaded with kodi and some add-ons which was good. I got it from 'http://www.aliexpress.com/item/XBMC-Bluetooth-4-0-Quad-Core-Cortex-A9-M8S-Android-4-4-TV-Box-Amlogic-S812/32330047656.html'. It comes with kodi 14.1 but literally all of the the add-ons keep saying script failed and even when I can go into the add-on there isn't anything in any of the sections eg Add-on>Movies>Most Popular>*empty*, anyone got any advise to help guide me on my way please. Thanks in advance!

I've been away so not been able to reply. I have been using the box for a week now and it is very responsive and everything works fine at the moment. I have caught up on the kodi stuff so that's all good. Do you have any detailed information on your firmware? Also I have linked the website I purchased my box from so is the firmware compatible with it?
