Playback music from phone via BT: Possible?

In my car, I have an FM transmitter, which plays the audio from my phone onto my car stereo (radio has no inputs/ cassette). The transmitter connects to my phone via Bluetooth. I would like to do the same in my home.

So I have one of the round players (Tronsmart S89) and I would like to connect my phone to the S89 via Bluetooth, and have the phones' audio played through my home theater.

Anyone know how and what software on the S89 I would need to make this happen?

    Thanks

There are a number of different ways to do this. Mostly I do this over wifi/LAN.
Bubble uPNP on both devices will let you choose a device to play on. So you can browse your music on your phone and select the TV box to actually play it.
Personally, I have AirBubble installed on my TV boxes(4 of them round the house) and DoubleTwist installed on my phone, so I can play like I normally do, then if I want to switch to one tv box using the airplay icon in the middle of the screen, which lets you choose any box it discovers.

I am not aware of a way to make the device act as a bluetooth audio receiver.

        Thanks for the suggestions.

I am going to look into Bubble uPNP like you have set up. That sounds like it will fit the bill nicely.

You know, the problem with the Bluetooth is that I can PAIR my phone(s) to the S89, no problem, BUT
when I click on the S89 in Bluetooth settings on the phone, it says "connecting" for a few seconds, I can then see the BT icon turn white for a split second, then it turns back to grey (on the phone).

I'm left wondering if the Bluetooth stack (or the hardware) is broken on my TV box.... ?

I have been unable to get any confirmations if anyone can successfully connect using BT on the their boxes.

..actually, I just tried to connect my Droid X to my LG G3 phone to see what would happen and the same occurred-- connects for a seconds then back to not connected, like the S89.. so perhaps the issue is something else that "makes it work" (connect) in the car to the FM transmitter..

Seems like I'm missing something here but I just can't figure it out.
