    Teclast X98 AIR 64GB Dual (C5J6)

    Hi folks

New kid on the forum ...

Some week ago I bought this funny thing on Ali , Dual boot,, I just couldn't resist to try it out
It came fast and everything was great, the tablet was fast, screen super for reading and so on,, the seller from Ali- future electronics
Did set it to English and there was V ROOT installed, so all bloat was easily removed,, all in all perfect,,

So of course as the good and noble people we are, I confirmed the order with 5 star, so the seller got his money released for the trade ,, from there of, we are on our own,, it's not a complaint, just a reminder
To not spent more than you are ready to loose

Problem starts the day after. I notice that the charger icon is always on, as charging,, info coming up with insufficient charger ( I have tried a variety of chargers and cables)
    And it did charge..

The next morning I unplugged it after a nights full charging

And the screen was dead,, but could feel on the back cover it kept warm

I contacted the seller, he asked me to check battery, so I opened the case and tested the battery with a multimeter, it was drained to Zero- Did hereafter some hours charging with the case open,
and the battery did reach 3.7V again which should be enough to turn it on,, if I'm right ? BTW the seller asked me to restart it too HE-HE-HE ????????????????

I Did notice that the motherboard around 3 cm from the Red + battery wire, (please look at the picture) Get quite hot, The other parts getting "normal lukewarm"

Now the battery is de-soldered as seen on picture= soldered on again it immediately heats up again<<<<<

I'm open for all ideas and experiences and ready to dismantle this TABLET

    Best Regards
