    Slow WiFi and Wired Ethernet

    Hello,

I have the Bluetimes QPRO RK3288 and both Lan and WiFi are very slow. So slow that i can't watch movies on my home Lan.
every other Computer at home works fine and i have test my cable with a RJ45 Network tester.

The ethernet on the Bluetimes QPRO RK3288 seems to work at 10mbps speed and my download speed from my Local NAS is around 1MB/s

I have tried all of the Firmware from the oldest to the newest and none addresses the slow Lan,

I have looked around and from what i have found its possible to change the tcp/ip rx_delay / tx_delay and this will address the problem some-how.

Can anyone please be so kind as to provide me with detailed instructions on how to apply the fix on this hardware ?

    Thanks

Use this tool or the resource unpack tool in the RK3288 SDK in Firefly wiki pages.

Change this in your unpacked dts file

    and then repack.

      Thanks for the quick reply,

      * will this effect my data and the installed programs on my device ?
      * Can i just flash only the dts file on my Bluetimes ? without effecting the rest of the data on the device ?
I am afraid i don't have a resource file in my image

This is the image that works best with my device:

and i have tested almost all images older and newer.

If it is not much trouble for you please have a look at my image because i don't know where to find or extract the resource file needed. ( not how to flash it on my device )
I understand that its a big download. so if you require just a single file inside the image please let me know.

At its current state LAN is almost unusable on the Bluetimes.

Thanks for you help and please bare with me because i have not done this before

I have managed to extract my image file and then unpack the resource file,

here is the file that was inside:

The file is dtb not dts ? How do i edit that now ?

What i am trying to do is edit rx tx_delay to fix the slow Lan on my box

mo123, is this a common problem with RK3288 devices or is this just a general suggestion? My mk903v and spmc will start off fine with a video and then about 2-4 minutes in it will stop almost altogether. So I switch to the wetek on openelec and try the same stream and it works great. I have the as.xml setup to use 10x default ram buffer and use all the available bandwidth but it still happens. I have done nothing to the wetek except plugging it in.

I am going to try moving the usb off to the side with the otg to see if it is because of interference from the mele 2.4ghz remote, but if it's a software problem, I'm in deep trouble.

Try 2x or 3x RAM buffer.
Are you using SPMC 15 beta 2?
Also try latest Kodi 15 RC3.
Are you using the latest firmware or or custom ROM?

Not a custom rom available, just got the latest stock rom and did some minimal changes to improve performance. Using 14.2 stable spmc. It may be my dsl speed. I tested it and did not have a problem later. I could not use the remote with otg, it would not wake it up. If it's because of the ghz, I won't be able to correct that, but I don't think AP6335 has that issue.

I have my mk903v (8GB stock rom) connected to my car stereo (appradio by Pioneer) by HDMI. Bluetooth is used to transmit touches to the headunit and be controlled. I am thetering intenet from my Xperia Z3 but the speed is very low. I tried to download same file on the mk903v and on the pone (while thetering) and the phone's speed is much higher
Could be a hardware problem of mk903v? is software (kernel etc)? could be interference betweeen bluetooth and wifi?

Is there any ROM update that could solve this?

                  Any help is appreciated
