M8, M8S, M8N. M10, M12 Android box. Is there a way to fully power off the box?

Hello everyone. Was just wondering if there is a way to fully power off my android tv player without unplugging it? Is there an app I can install to fully shut down the unit and not put it in standby mode? when I click power off on the remote it goes into standby mode and i have a little red light on inside the back of the unit near av port and when my mouse is plugged in that light stays on too. So by putting in it standby mode, it is still adding up total uptime even though my box is off, if you go to Kodi and under information you will see.

I don't have one of these boxes, so I am only guessing that it will fit. You can buy a DC On/Off in Line switch cable on **** for about $3 US. The connection is 5.5mm x 2.1mm. I have a micro USB one which works really well with my TV Sticks. You may find others.

Perfect! thanks I am going to give this a try. As I tried a couple apps to power off the device with no success. seems it just wants to reboot instead of shut down. 3 dollar guess won't hurt. ill do some researching first to see if its going to fit everyone knows how long you have to wait china mail.
