I'm a new user of a TRONSMART MX3 Smart TV Box (under ANDROID 4.4.2)
Now, I would like to use the AV output to plug to a tiny LCD display IN THE MEAN TIME use my normal HDMI to the TV.
Unfortunately, the AV output works ok until I also plug the HDMI :-)
-> So my question is to know if there is any setting (ANDROID or elsewhere ?) to allow that ?
I didn't find any answer to this question on the web ...
I must add that the AV Port is disable as soon as the HDMI is plugged in, even if the TV is off !
I do not own an Amlogic device, but that cannot be done with my RK3288 device(UT3). Either or, but not simultaneously. Of course you cold get an HDMI splitter or switch. Like these. I have not used one though.
In fact, I would then need a "HDMI Splitter + AV output".
I have to find one on the web ...

I misunderstood, I did not realize the tiny LCD was without an HDMI interface. And while there are some cheap HDMI to A/V converters, I don' t know if they will work with a splitter. Too bad your big TV does not have A/V output. If it did, maybe you could daisy-chain to the smaller display. However, for what you will pay for the splitter and HDMI-A/V converter, you could almost grab a second TV box.
Good Luck.
