Signal not compatible from 908

Just received the 908. When I plug in to my TV with only 1080i, it booted, come out with android application icon, after few seconds, the TV turns black with error message stating signal not compatible. What happen and anybody can help?

Are you using the adapter which include in the package?

yes I used the stock adapter. My TV is slightly old with only 1080i and not 1080p, after I change the resolution to 720, it manage to show the image but no sound through the HDMI. Ahhhh...troublesome!

My tv is sharp..got video but no audio.

Same issue here...

MK908 has video, but no sound when plugged into the HDMI port of my Panasonic 42inch 1080p TV (TC-P42S1). Sound works when I plug into the my livingroom receiver.

Based on failtorek's information, I wonder if I should exchange the MK908 for a T428
