MXQ s805 - revert unofficial Openelec back to Android

Hi folks,

Is it possible to revert back to Android from unofficial Openelec on the MXQ?

I tried to revert back using the "Toothpick" method, but it just boots back to Openelec. I have it on my MXQ and MK808B+, however I have flashed it for a friend and they prefer Android.

I have used the version by kszaq from here: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...mk808b-and-mxq . I have been looking around online for a solution but have so far been unsuccessful...

any ideas?

You will need to find android for the MXQ and reflash that using the toothpick method, so find yourself an android rom for the MXQ you can flash and try that...

Hi, SD method only works for updating, because it check the current version before flashing.
You need to use the USB method.

Rename recovery.img to kernel.img, this will force an update withing needing to hold the button in.
