How to get Root on Tronsmart Orion R68 Meta?

does anyone know how to get or obtain root on the Tronsmart Orion R68 Meta rAKA an rk3368 based device? I want to install an adblocker and Titanium Backup but can't without root. Any help would be appreciated.

I received the box today, amazing box, I returned my Shield TV box and will keep the R68 Meta. I also need to root this baby, by the way, I connected to my 4K TV, the picture is really great, played some 4K movies flawless.

Why did you return the shield?

Will be interesting to know if Xposed installer will also work when it is rooted as I've not been able to get it to install on any LP ROM's yet.

I have no complaints with the Shield TV, I love it but it is $100.00 more expensive then the R68 Meta, I can buy 2 boxes that can do almost what the Shield TV can do for the same price.

If I get a box perhaps before end August or maybe September, I'll make a rooted ROM.

It's working on my shield which is LP, so imagine it will be fine. I also imagine the awful program that is Kingroot or iroot would probably root this box (although you could probably ADB push root over)

can you make a video review of it? i've ordered one and geekbuying has scheduled the shipping to the 18th of August and i want to see how's it working to know if i need to cancel or keep the order.

Tried severel Apps that "can almost root any device". None of those three was able to it´s job.
Currently NO ROOT available!

Have to build a custom ROM with root built in.
99% of Rooting apps won't work.

The only RK3368 Firmware that I have managed to find is for the CSA90.

Perhaps it might give opportunity for those who are interested to delve into an RK3368 ROM and potentially work out a way to root.
