    Give your opinion on different chipset s for TV Boxs in current market, I have mine

    Minix tend to use Intel more, a famous one , which can work with different file formats. and Tronfy MX2 which use H3, which has a better decoding capacity, and the its new released MX4 use Amlogic S812, which makes tv box works more smoothly. and tronsmart uses RK more, which i know little. I am not a highly professional tech guy, anything wrong?

    I don't get the question
    But if you seek to make a review.. buy them all...

    Rk3288=horsepower
    H3 = cheap mediaplayer
    H8=another octa-core..where no benchmark can make it use all cores
    A80=overpriced in everyway
    S805=cheap mediaplayer
    S802=middle range
    S812=high price
    S90*=not enough info
    Rk3388=64bit (with only 1/2GB ram? What's the point) abit less horsepower
    Intel=small form PC.. with no HW upgrades possible
    --the all suffer from overheating, the are all clocked lower then specs/resellers report

    Allwinner=has raw sound passthtough (DTS/Dolby) / vivid colors (no support/development)
    Amlogic=good support / smooth Vids
    Rockchip=plays everything

      Think its a GHM - Ford - Chrysler type of question....well that's how I see it. could be wrong

      There all just as good and bad as each other all have Pro's and Con's and most are selling the same stuff in a different Box
      I guess its what works best for you.
      Some say you pay for what you get but even then that can fail.

      In most it's just what works.

      Cheers

          +1
          RK3368 will give even more bang for the buck for first time buyers.

            what you said make much sense, and now many boxes adopted Amlogic, like Minix and tronfy, bumped into a box review, using Amlogic 812, playing video without any lag and flickering, http://freaktab.com/forum/main-categ...y-mx-iv-review

              If you want to buy a project for $100 and try to make it work, you are signing up for dealing with disconnecting everything, reflashing with fingers crossed, then reconnecting. If it boots, then reinstalling apps...I've done that most recently with RK3288 - great performance potential - crap firmware / support. I had to add mod my box for a cooling solution to try gaming... it wasn't nearly as quiet as I'd hoped. It was frustrating.

              Two months ago I ponied up for NVidia Shield TV. I will never look back. It continues to amaze me with performance and features. Awesome gaming, its absolutely silent without overheating. ITS FAST. Every game available through the play stores has been tested to work with it. No more downloading 2GB and find out its incompatible with a controller/mouse setup. I connect my 10 year old USB steering wheel & pedals and they work with 80% functionality (not all on-board buttons supported with all apps). I love the streaming games from Shield Hub... It's a winner.

              (I'd recommend 500GB model for gaming without worrying about space usage but the 16GB model is probably fine for most.)

                I know a few people that recently bought the Nvidia Shield TV and they absolutely love it. For anyone looking for a great Android box, I'd probably get the Shield TV. If you want to stick with Linux/Windows/OpenELEC, I'd get a NUC or Chromebox.
