Snakekiller does bring up a good point though. It seems like the business and productivity Android apps are even less likely to let you try a free version and buy if you like it than on iOS. LOTS of apps, allow you to try a free version with ads or things like that on iOS where when I search for the same apps I use on my iPAD for my Arnova, there are only pay versions with no testing versions at all. I wonder why this is? I bet the app developers would sell more if they had trial versions like the iOS developers are doing.

The only exception to this is that the games my son plays, are mostly all free on Android platform where they cost between .99 to 1.99 for iOS versions of the same game with no test versions.

You can purchase any app etc from the Market and yet get 15 minutes to get the refund, you just go into the market/my apps and where the app is the option is there for refund.

15 minutes is not long but at least you get to try apps out for compatibility etc

Also I think iTunes is a little more controlled and users are less likely to jailbreak and possibly pirate apps. I think Android is more open and thus more prone to have people do that. So my bet is devs feel more safe on iTunes. Just my thoughts as to why.
