    Coltech CM-U6 , flash other ROMs or updates to Finless ?

    Hello, I have bought new Android dongle , Unfortunately no name

    RK3066 , mali400 , 1gb ddr3 , 4gb + reset button (UDISK BUTTON)


    I have custom rom and i can flash without problems, but now I want to flash 1080p firmware, custom rom not rooted and some apps need rooted firmware..

    Can I flash other roms?

    I need your help.

    I have just bought this item and was wondering can I flash Finless 1.7 or 2.1 Rom into this dongle?

      I have tried Custom Rom Finless 2.0 JB 4.2.2, works fine , only the wifi not working ....

      I have now found wlan/BT chip is CDT-K25931

      Anyone here knows a solution?

          Yes you are right , I think Finless can help us . I have original rom maybe Finless can easily change this rom.

            Hello everybody,

            sorry for bringing to life this old post but it looks like this is the only place on the web where someone talks about this device.
            I happen to have the same tv dongle with the same build number and a slightly older kernel (mine is #81 dated 17 Dec 2012).

            On the Coltech website they have published (in November) a revision of the firmware with android 4.2.2 but the link is broken and it cannot be downloaded.
            Meanwhile I have managed to corrupt my original firmware so now I cannot boot it succesfully unless using some alternative firmware where wifi is NOT working.
            Can anyboy give me some help in either restoring the orginal firmware (where can I download it?), or the updated one, or a working custom firmware ?
