Kodi 15.0 isengard on M8

Hi all, wondering if anyone tried the new kodi and had any success... I tried it out and it starts up but I get a black screen or it crashes to home screen.

I've had zero problems running 15.0 RC1 or RC2 on my M8N. Whose ROM you running? JustMe has some good ROMs, posted here.

stock rom... I was trying kodi-15.0-Isengard-armeabi-v7a.apk which I don't think is an R... did you do an upgrade to 14.2? I uninstalled 14.2 and installed 15.0

I think from memories some people needed to turn of the aml codec in kodi try that and report back

Can't even get into kodi to change the settings goes to black screen... Went back to 14.2 for now, maybe will try again in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm running OpenELEC 5.95.3.2 Kodi 15.1 RC 1 on my box and it's running great so far.

have you tried toi unistall 14.2 and then reinstall fresh the 15.rc2 version, bizarre for kodi not work or get affected by firmware or box unit

I had the same issue with Isengard running on the 1.8 Finless ROM. It kept crashing and taking me back into the normal android launch. Sometimes I needed to stop Kodi in settings/ads and delete the cache, reboot my box and reopen it. I now installed the newest ROM of JustMe (1.8) and it is as stable as it can be, without any crashes so far.

should all move onto 15.1, from reading few peoples experiences 15.1 is more stable and fixes few issues from the 15.0

yup, ended up trying 15.1 and it's working with no issues.
