rkremote App mostly can't find mk808b

    Hey!
I'm very glad to have the opportunity to use the rkremote app, but my Samsung Galaxy mostly can't find my Mk808B. Sometimes after 10minutes it finds the "Homecenter" when I'm lucky. That's really annoying.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

    Best regards

PS: I'm using ethernet2usb so I've got a good internet connection and my phone (once connected) works good too. It's only that it can't find it, although I'm refreshing the app :-/

Sometimes is a problem of the router, you must have neighborhood share, or local network share or something like this enabled in the router. And be sure that both devices, phone and stick are in the same network and range.

Yes, you're using ethernet to usb.

The rkremote absolutely hates ethernet. You have about a 5 second grace period to get a connection once it connects via internet, if you don't do it in this time you have to toggle ethernet on and off again. If the app crashes, you have to do it again.

If you need to use a wifi remote, buy droidmote from the playstore, it works extremely well using ethernet to usb and is pretty cheap.

But I can't purchase droidmote without having a credit card :-/

          Are there any other apps?

Yeah, I couldn't get RKremote to work at all with my ethernet connection so I gave up trying and got Droidmote which works great.

I don't have a credit card, either. Do you have a debit card?

                Okay thanks.
Yes, but I would really like to buy it via Paypal. Is there no possibility to do so?

Not on Google Play, no. You could try contacting the dev and asking, I guess.
