cube u30gt2 and problems with x264 and divx

Is anyone experiencing problem with video files with x264 or divx/xvid codec? It seems more a software problem than an hardware one, my older tablet with a single 800mhz processor could handle better this kind of files! The only program who can play decently this video is bsplayer , but I don't really like it, I prefer MX player. Is anyone having this problem or knows a possible solution? Thanks.

      hardware

Make sure MX Player is in HARDWARE DECODING mode. it will say H/W in the top right corner when video is paused.

If it fails to play in H/W mode, you need to use a convert tool to convert it to a standard H.264 format (some dont work). I recommend Handbrake for converting.

If it still is laggy, the idk...

If you are talking about statter/jitters issue in mp4 x264 720p+ videos, that's sadly the issue on all RK3188 chips, but so far we could conclude it's rather software issue. Temporary fix I know off you can try - provided by 'biorum' at:http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-videos)/page5
