Pipo X7S 64GB won't boot - Led: Short flash -> 5 seconds off -> 5 seconds on

    Ignore that, the BIOS batt is soldered on and the device is still tripping out my UPS when connected to it. I suspect there is sometyhing very wrong power wise with this batch (as well as the back-plane issue)!

      Yep dont alter the BIOS. although OP didnt go into the BIOS on the second unit.

        I just returned my Pipo's for repair. In the problem description I included a (short) link to this forum.

        I have had contact with Bella of Geekbuying many times the last few days. The support is great!

        For more information about the return policy and the email adres I used. http://www.geekbuying.com/help/custo.../return_policy

        FYI, I asked a question about the costs and this is the answer.

        "You just need to pay the shipping fee for sending them back to us.(choose cheapest airmail)
        We will pay for the shipping fee for sending them to you, don't worry.
        And after factory test, we will offer free repair if there is nothing wrong with motherboard.
        Any further questions pls feel free to contact us.

        Bella (geekbuying)"

        I will keep you posted about the repair.

            I forwarded the original order to support_aftersale at geekbuying.com.
            They respond during working hours (in China) on weekdays.

                Just a small update.
                Both my Pipo X7S device are replaced with new ones.
                One of them was already pre installed with Windows 10.

                The after sales support from Geekbuying (Bella) was great.
