MK808 screen goes black for a few seconds

Hello,

I have an MK808 running Finless 1.7c, and I use the Mele F10 for mouse/keyboard.

When using the device, the screen will go black for a few seconds, and then come back and continue on. This usually happens when I am watching videos (netflix, youtube, or stream from a network drive), but has happened other times as well. It continues to play the video (you miss a few seconds) when the screen is black, so it doesn't seem to be completely freezing, just the video output.

It doesn't seem to be consistent, some days seem to be worse than others.

Any ideas?

Change the HDMI cable, the original is a bad quality.

This is consistent with the unit being underpowered.

Try changing the power source to a reliable 2A one. The supplied "2A" ones are crap.

Nexus 7 power supplies are pretty good.

I have a Nexus 7, and I believe that I was using it's supply for a while, but had the same issue. I'll give it another try though.
