Pipo M9 Pro - Won't Start Up

After (nearly) 2 years of great service from my M9 Pro, running RileyROM 2.7 (I think) I have had some problems the last couple of weeks.

In the past, sometimes the tablet would refuse to start, but pressing the reset button would get it started within a few minutes.

2 weeks ago, it refused to start and reset button did not work. I noticed that plugging the charger in did not make the red light come on, though wiggling the lead about made it flash. Left the tablet alone for some hours, went back and it started fine, and the battery had charge. Has since been fine.

Unfortunately, it has just done the same thing again, not sure if it is going to come back or not this time, bit concerned this is looking quite terminal!

Any ideas from the experts on here what the problem could be, or what I can do to troubleshoot it?

Hmmmmmm... very odd. After leaving it all day, just picked it up again to try switching on, and at first it seemed to still be dead. However, after about 5 minutes of randomly pressing reset and POWER and ESC button, it eventually kicked into TWRP recovery. Have now rebooted from that and it has started fine.

Bit concerned that this is the early signs of a terminal failure, if anyone has any recommendations of what I should do to check things out while it is working, would be grateful!

Also, what is the official button pushing process for booting into recovery like I accidentally managed to do? I have had to use an app to do this in the past, could never get any button pressing sequence to work... maybe if I know this and do it properly it will fix it the next time it happens...

Oh dear. It has been fine for the last 3 months since my last post, but just done this again, and been dead for 2 days now. :-(

Any ideas anyone? It had just charged up, so battery not dead. The power light is only flickering when I plug it into the mains though, so I think there is some dodgy power connection going on internally which could be the cause of this. Any instructions kind folk here can provide for opening the case? That might be needed, but I am very afraid I will just break it by doing this!!!

I think mine died because of a power problem, but I do not know what to do to fix that. Best of luck!
