mx2, problem with my bbc iplayer

bought a Tronfy MX2 Android TV Box shipped with H3 , which is preinstalled with many apps,Yet I have some problem. The bbc iplayer app that is preinstalled crashes every time so can't use that app .I can download the program & watch it once its downloaded but cant stream it for some reason the app will just return to the start page.

wondering if a custom rom will help?

Install kodi and the iPlayer lite addon. There is also an itv one.

I think your box MX2 has kodi preinstalled, and reinstall may not work, do a firmware update will be a ultimate resort. have fix my Tronfy mx3 video stuttering issue with a firmware update. http://http://www.tronfy.com/downloads/
