I just flashed 1.4 Finless. Having issue with Bluetooth headset. Able to pair up no problem and get a "connected" message on the headset, but not able to record speech, voice search in Google, use Skype, ets...No sound in/out of headset. Was wondering if anybody else have the same problem.

Unfortunately I never tested Bluetooth on a stock rom...It feels like a software issue since I am able to pair up and it doesn't seem like connection ever drops, just no sound in or out of headset...Originally posted by leolas View PostComment

Similar to your problem, I have tried three different bluetooth input devices on the stock T428 firmware (4.2.2) and they exhibit the same problem. One is a Rii Mini macro keyboard/touchpad and then a Dell (rebranded Logitech) keyboard and mouse. Each device pairs successfully and remains connected but nothing functions.T428Comment

I got a JAWBONE headset that works for everything else. I probably need to flash this rom again but afraid to do that cause I don't have any frame skipping issues watching HD. If I am going to re-flash and fix this Bluetooth issue and trade it for an issue with frame rate, than I am rather not flash at all until 4.2 comes out...Originally posted by bobinh2otown View PostComment

I think you do actually have the frame skipping but you are not noticing it. I did not notice it myself until many people said it was there so I decided to see if I could actually find it. It is very hard to see it and only on certain scenes in a movie like a slow pan. I found a spot in a movie that had a slow pan past a sign with high detailed writing. I watched it over and over then did it again moving the mouse and sure enough I could then notice it.
This is on Netflix. I have not confirmed the missing frames on other movies played from sdcard.

Yeah this is most likely the case. I only had this stick for 3 days now. Watched HULU and Netflix for several hours yesterday and didn't notice any issues with frame rate. YouTube videos play great in HD. Just wondering what the hell is wrong with my Bluetooth...It just weird that I am able to pair up with no problems and stay connected but no sound in/out of the headset...Definitely sounds like a software issue, but I never tested the stock rom...Also I tried using multiple apps from Google play to test Bluetooth and I have this device crash several times running some of those apps. When it crashed I was actually able to hear some cracking coming out of the headset where during normal operation there was no sound at all....pure silence...so this makes me believe there is got to be something with the software. Alright. So I re-installed the stock rom today. No results. Still not able to get any sound.
Also, installed Bluetooth File Transfer app from the store. Tried connecting it to my laptop and I am able to pair up but can not connect. It says on my laptop that this stick doesn't have the necessary services to connect...
I guess it's time to open a case with geekbuying.Comment
