cameras dont work with this device, they just crash it (tested with Logitech c310 multiple times)

      Geekbuying response to this question:

I asked Geekbuying about webcams and I got reply mentioning the Logitech C110 which was unexpected since they usually recommend the C170 which they sell. The C110 is an even cheaper version, but also there was a reference to "new firmware" from Tronsmart which may mean that as of right now, no camera is supported.

      "Thank you for your inquiry.

the updated firmware will fix this, and now we have tested Logitech V-U0024 ( C110 ) could work with T428.

      Hope you enjoy your shopping
      Best Regards"

As you can see, it's clear as mud. "could work"?

It would be nice if these manufacturers would go through a quality control checklist of things that need to work and make sure that they are working before shipping the product out the door, but the financial incentive to be first and get a whole lotta people's money before they can spend it on whoever releases an RK3188 based stick next, is obviously an irresistible force.

I hope this new firmware, with camera support, comes soon! Can you ask geekbying for a date?

I believe we all want the 'uvcvideo' module (for the most common usb cameras) and the kernel doesn't have it built-in. I am trying to build the module from the RK3188 kernel source, but I used the wrong compiler and I have problems inserting the module (I'm not a kernel guy though).
