cube talk 9x bricked, won't go into recovery

    Hi,

I was experimenting with different firmware and tools for cube talk 9x(u65gt), ended up formatting "whole flash" from SP tool. Funnily i can't find my EMEI number!.
Now it reboots in a loop when you power it on -after 2,3 seconds, and won't go into recovery). I have tried installing various roms through SP flash tools but they all fail ( I also tried restoring it with the backup firmware I made through "MTK droid root and tools").

Is there anyway I can fix this or is it officially bricked?

      Hi,
Your boot loop probably results from a non-existent or corrupt recovery. You might have set wrong settings in flash tool. I'm no expert with that, I only do such stuff few times and forget afterwards...
But I am certain some experts here can show you how to flash correctly.
Your backup from droid tools only works through a stable USB connection, means running Android.
As for your IMEI, did you write it down?

I have tried flashing it with more than 10 roms and multiple recoveries , tried reformating entire memory and re-installing it again...nothing seems to work.

I'm in a similar situation. I tried using this from this website "Delete all chinese apps for V1.3-V1.8, only via stock recovery (link: freaktab.com) (thanks to mmrrdd)". All worked fine for a couple of days, then it crashed and was stuck in bootloop.
Can anyone recommend a recovery rom please as I've not done any rooting before.

          Many thanks.

I finally managed to do it, let it charge for an entire night with the tablet booting and looping, the next day flashed it with the official 1.8 firmware and it worked.

what option did you choose in spflashtools, in that case? download only, firmware update, or format all?

and what about your IMEI? Was it recovered by itself when you flashed stock 1.8 or you had to do something else? I am asking this, because without IMEI you can't connect to a cellular network.

These are the steps I took,

1 - Connected the tablet to charger overnight (it was trying to boot repeatedly and restarting)
                2 - Downloaded 1.8 official version
3 - Formatted entire flash using SPFlash tool. (if you have not fully formatted your device before, make sure you create a back up of your IMEI using MTKtools)
4 - flashed the 1.8 version, format all.
5 - It worked but not 3G (No IMEI) (if you have not fully formatted your device before, you can create a back up of your IMEI using MTKtools)
                6 - rooted
7 - downloaded and installed mobileuncle
                8 - followed the instructions here: https://www.facebook.com/fXDAdev/posts/448292925303711
9 - make sure there is a space between AT and +EGMR...the rest of instructions and a random IMEI found online or from an old phone.
10 - put the sim card in.
                11 - Reboot
                12 - Done!

                Hope it helps
