    Best ROM for Newbie MK902

    I upgraded factory firmware to 4.4.2 sdk v1.0.0.130514. I can set display to 1080p but it only outputs 720p and microphone doesn't work.

    This box is mostly used for Kodi/TVMC. What is the best custom ROM to get 1080p? Are there installers that work within the factory rom or will I always need to flash using my win7 pc?

    I am looking for a good ROM and tutorial. Any advice will be appreciated

        I installed CyanogenMod 11. It fixed my 1080p output and voice search problems on MK902. When running Kodi/TVMC I used to be able to gesture from the top of the screen to make the virtual home button appear. Is there a setting to return this functionality?

          I found it in developer options (block app gestures)

            Now you should try the one Neomode suggested
            if [ $up.post.type = $type.two.lazy.to_use_google ] || [ $up.post.type = $type.silly_question ];
            then mv $user.contact.up.post /.trash; set response($response.type = ignore);
            $user.up.post.ignore_in_future = true; fi;

              My ethernet stopped working and wifi performance is down to 1 or 2 mb. I tried a reset on CM11 then I flashed AEO and finally latest factory rom all with the same symptoms. When I turn on ethernet ip settings are all blank and when I go out of settings ethernet turns it self off and doesn't try to connect. are there other settings or ethernet drivers I need? Any advice is appreciated

                I suspect Ethernet port got burned by surge. Is there a way to diagnose hardware?
