I do a lot of video coding and I was giving a thought to the stutter problem every ones having and noticed the same issue on another video streaming program besides netflix.
The issue arised whe trying to play a PAL format video and right away noticed the stuttering that I see in net flix.
I chose a different source the second time being that of a NTSC format video and the stutter was gone.
Maybe it was the other way around??
I am now thinking that there is some kind of error in the coding or codecs forcing video to be played in the PAL 25fps format on a NTSC 29fps GUI or vice versa.
Thus causing the frame drop and giving a stutter image in video.
The firmware should be edited and the value's changed to force NTSC 29.97 fps not PAL 25fps.
