Few questions about Tronsmart Orion R68 Meta

Got my unit, few things that annoys me..
    1. boot takes way too long
    2. i'm experiencing minor lags which makes it annoying to use the box
    3. how can i cast to the box? (as Android TV Box i'd expect it to have the function but i couldn't find it on settings)
    4. any good remote + air mouse recommendation? the one that comes with the box is shitty

What time period constitutes too long?
After a full config and tweak to reduce unnecessary apps from auto starting, mine takes about a minute and 40 seconds.

Are the lags in the UI itself or other areas?

I haven't got my box in front of me but I think from memory that the cast option is in the display settings in the top right corner of the screen.

I use a Logitech K400 Plus, which works very well.

R-TV BOX S10, Beebox N3150, Chuwi Hibox, Nvidia Shield, A95X Max

the lags are mostly in UI.

If you want a device that boots up in 12-15 seconds, the only ones that do are HPH RK3288 and UGOOS UT3.
On RK3368 you won't be able to boot faster than 25 seconds as the chipset is slower.
Eny boxes take around 2-3 minutes to boot up, can be glad you don't have one of those.

To reduce the lag you need to set the CPU work like desktop CPU, don't change the cpu clock. Install No-frills CPU Control, and set min as 1.2Ghz, performance.

I'm using mx3 air mouse and love it very much
