I Have an Android TV box

MX3 Ultra Max
Android Version 4.4.2
Build Number 116k4
Kernel Version 3.10.33
Oman@ubuntu#1

I bought this from Droidsmart with their set up etc and pre installed XBMC and their updater but I think it may be a bit behind on the firmware side & I would like to maybe revert it to factory settings & update the firmware as I suspect this isn't the newest version installed!

No Idea where to get a firmware update from either!

Can anyone help me?

Well, aren't they just overpriced mxiii s802?
116k4 is the newest I believe, although 115k4 is the latest official one from tronsmart.

You can get the newer tronsmart mxiii plus with s812 chip for like £40. Droidsmart are expensive.

Yea, think I have found that out the hard way!

Is it the android version or the build number that refers to the firmware? Where to I download an update if I need one?
