I've been having significant issues with a friend's OTT M8. I flashed it with Finless which bricked it. I managed to recover it via OTG USB lead and PROBOX and have since then flashed pretty much every ROM known to man (older Finless, JustMe, Megatron, AMlinux, Stane1983 Android, Openelec and a bunch of stocks). Some of these ROMs load and some do not. However, even the one's which load do not have working WIFI; it simply does not appear to be recognised.
I've done a bit of research and I believe this is because this clone has an alternative wifi chip - the Realtec RTL8723BC. I've tried get the stock firmware from the seller but haven't got anywhere yet.
Are there any ROMS out there which support this chip? Or can anyone guide me how I can install the drivers in android for this chip? They appear to be these:https://github.com/hadess/rtl8723bs.
