    CX-S806 S812 stuck in bootloop

I'm stuck in a bootloop. I see the MBox logo and the S812 logo, but then it reboots.
I have tried nearly every version of Amlogic USB burning tool up to v2.0.5 but I still get
    "Parse burning image fail" message.

I can't find any images to boot from USB or SD card for this box.

Is there an image available? I've seen it mentioned, but unfortunately not linked.

I should mention I have also tried to install openelec, and it seems to install, but still loops the installating, with the USB inserted. When I remove it, it boots to recovery menu.

    I can't make a recovery card amlogic bootcardmaker because I can't find a U-boot.bin for this box.
I'm also unsure wihich NAND pins to short..

By renaming the image file to aml_upgrade_package.img I have removed the "Parse burning image fail" message, and it seems to load.

Now my only problem seems to be getting the PC to detect the box. I have the Amlogic USB drivers installed, but I am not getting any indication that the box is connected to the PC.

When I connect it to TV it boots to the recovery menu.

If you can get into recovery, one of the links on this page has the zip file. The other is the img file. http://chinagadgetsreviews.blogspot....-stock_19.html

        Thanks for that Chris.
After tearing my hair out, I found the issue. - NOPE

        The plug.

It was providing power, but just not enough to fully boot. I swapped it with an old Sony Ericson USB plug I had in a drawer, and it booted straight away..

[s]I wanted to put Openelec on it, but now I think I'll leave it for a while, at least until I'm no longer sick of looking at this box. Right now I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but I'm going to go with the former, as I have it working again. [/s]

I may have spoken too soon.. Same problem.

I'll try that zip file, thanks.
          EDIT

Both links seem to be to an img file.
But I can no longer access recovery either. Just Android TV boot loop.

I tried an old Nokia plug, it worked for about a minute. Now bootlooping again.

I found issue in the end.
It was the USB cable. Unfortunately I didn't have another USB cable to try it with and it never occurred to me that it could be the cable over the power or box.
It was giving enough power to boot, sometimes the whole way. But eventually it would reboot and get stuck in a boot loop.

I got another power from a different box and tried it.
It has been working ever since. Now I just have to order another power source and cable.
