    USB lan issue

Hi, I'm running finless 1.7 but seem to be having problems with my usb lan adapter (AX88772 chip). For whatever reason, it sometimes only gets a max speed of 8mbps - a quick unplug/replug usually gets me back to full speed (60mbps) but it's a little annoying. If I try the adapter on my laptop it gets full speed everytime. I'm just wondering if it could be a driver issue. From looking at the axis website it appears a new android driver has just been released. How difficult would it be to implement this into finless? Linux kernel 3.x/2.6.x Driver v4.7.0 http://www.asix.com.tw/download.php?...ail&PItemID=86 I'm a complete novice at these sort of things so any help would be much appreciated.

Drivers are simple if you have a pre compiled version of it.

Leolas has a thread if you want to ask him.
    Currently Using:
2 x Nvidia Shield TV | MiniMX III
    Retired Devices:
    MiniMX III-II | Mk808b Pro | Mk808b Plus | Raspberry Pi 1 + 2 | UBOX R89 | MK808 | MK808b | CS008 | X1 4K (rk3288_809) | CYX_809III | Ouya | CX-919 | S82 Plus | Tronstmart R68

It's been a while but I believe Leolas and I have tried getting that chipset driver to work and we failed.
The few that had them took them back and got something else.

Again it's been a while but that chipset as I recall is a problem.

      Bob
"Pzebacz im, bo nie wiedzą, co czynią"
"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

This surprises me Bob, a lot of people recommended the AX88772 chip.

I have 3 of those usb-lan adaptors using that same chipset on UG007 and UG007II. Never noticed a problem. What app are you using to check transfer speeds? I'm curious to see if I have that issue too.

I'm using my ISP's online speedtest with Dolphin browser. http://www.upc.nl/internet/snel_internet/speedtest/
