HDMI Audio Passthrough (DTS) on Tronsmart Orion R68 Meta?

Hi,
similar problems here, I just received my R68 and I can only get proper sound for DTS (passthrough) with Kodi through SPDIF no AC3 sound.
Funny enough my amp shows me "Dolby Digital" on its screen when paying the AC3 coded movie but I have no sound at all. So it seems like the signal gets there...
If I try a DTS movie I do have the sound (and dts appearing on the amp screen).
I can only use the SPDIF since my amp doesn't have HDMI.... and the reason I bought the Orion is the optical out...
AH, yes - same problem with MXPlayer too.
But I did have AC3 (through Spdif RCA) with my previous media player so it's not the amplifier's fault I guess...
Any hints - much appreciated!!

I've tried everything - in vain.
I thought the problem may be my amplifier (saw similar threads with this issue mostly with these Sony amps I have).
The Orion R68 (with Kodi or MX Player) pushes the signal through and the amp recognizes the AC3 stream (written on the amp's screen) but still no sound.
But if that's an amplifier problem then why did it work flawlessly with my previous media player Venice V13 (both dts and DD5.1 perfect sound)?

Seems like that Kodi doesn't like my system at all. Freezes all the time, some other times it just quits.
However.... I tried a gadget I recently bought for my Xbox360 (it has no digital audio out)... it's a HDMI-> HDMI+Spdif converter.
I connected the Orion's HDMI out to the converter, then the Spdif of the converter to the amplifier.
And voilá, both dts and AC-3 streams work great with my amp.
So apparently it was not the amp's fault but somehow the Orion sends the dts properly and the Ac-3 not. At least that's my conclusion....
