Please try the 1st firmware, it should work.
Power off might have a problem.

You can flash your resource.img, if still not working have to flash the kernel.img also from the first tab of the flash tool.
Use the last tab of RK Android Tool v2.35 to unpack your latest stock firmware to get those files.
Flash this ROM with the second tab, upgrade.

Thanks a lot bro... i know how to flash roms. i was only wondering how to get the right kernel and resource files ( thanks again for pointing out extracting those from the latest stock firmware)...
but just to clarify it ( Running those files should be done after flashing with nagrace firmware).....

Yes, after flashing the Nagrace firmware.
The problem is you loose lots of fixes by flashing your own kernel, try with only resource.img first.

I've been tested your roms on my beelink r89 and HD audio didn't work with no one programs. Openour 1.27 beta works fine on my denon x2100. Wasser lolipop firmware appears Dolby Digital + instead Dolby Truhd and DTS when DTS-MA.

Please try first ROM in this thread(use Video Player and SPMC with Mediacodec Acceleration) and also the second test firmware one.
Root your device with towelroot and unzip the file, copy this file to /system/etc folder, enable read/write with ES File Explorer in the bottom settings.
Choose rw r r permissions for the file.
Restart device and test audio again.
If still not working try the following:

Now edit the file in ES File Manager and change
                  86020 DTS A no no
                  86019 AC3 A no no
                  86047 ATARC A no no
                  86057 E-AC-3 A no no

                  to

                  86020 DTS A yes yes
                  86019 AC3 A yes yes
                  86047 ATARC A yes yes
                  86057 E-AC-3 A yes yes
                  save and restart device again

Please also try testing SPMC 14.2,, SPMC 15, MXPlayer with custom DTS codec, Video Player and Kodi 15.2

Please try SPMC 14.2(only with RKStagefright) as I heard any SPMC after that has passthrough problems.
With RKStagefright video playback is the best.

On the first ROM, SPMC will have flickering screen with RKStagefright Hardware Acceleration in Expert Settings.
And with Medicodec there will be audio out of sync and stuttering in high bitrate videos, but that is the only thing working.
Because the first ROM is so new, it's not the firmware at fault, it's Kodi & SPMC that are too outdated to utilize the improved codecs properly.
Nagrace is working on new firmware that will have HD Audio and should solve all passthrough issues with Kodi and video playback will work much better.

Are you using MXPlayer with custom DTS/AC3 codec?
                        H/W or H/W+ Acceleration?
SW Audio or Hardware Audio settings?
And in Beelink firmware spdif is not working with MXPlayer?
Please also try the 'Video' Player, the stock one in the firmware and compare to MXPlayer.

Will try to help with your power issue.
Send me a PM with your firmware.

did try all advanced settings in spmc (15 and 14.2) but doesn't seem to work for me....
mxplayer (of course it's HW decoding in order to give you DTS and DOLBY in spdif passthrough) is surely working in your test rom and i can even feel that the video playback is awesome too....
nagrace mentioned firmware is not giving me the same results with mxplayer (i mean dts and dolby in spdif passthrough).....

                            Hi mo123,

Sorry to hijack the thread but I don't know how to use MX player with custom DTS to have DTS/AC3 sound.
I use MX player with the customer codec from XDA but the MX Player downsamples the DTS/AC3 sound to stereo.
I don't know how to configure the MX player to send the DTS/AC3 sound (without downsample) to my receiver.
Can you please help me ?

Thanks in advance and again sorry for the hijack.
