I don't have any knowledge of this device, but many report heat issues with many RK3288 sticks. Look for support before you buy, otherwise you may be stuck with poor F/W. Please see my general buying guide here, the first four posts are relevant.

But you also have to look at brand name/manufacturer.
There are big differences.
Eg. Nagrace has very high quality boards with big heatsinks and more capasitors than other boards, also has faster memory and storage space than other manufacturers.
CPU is not the only thing you should look at.

I think it might be the WiFi chip ap6212.
.
I think you are better of buying a mk903v (2/8=ap6330 or 2/16=ap6335)

Good and stable are not a good definition to CS008. I have one (Realtek chip) and the firmware is very poor. Stick reboot when it connects to WiFi or when I install/open an app and the list is big. I'm trying to save this stick but new firmware to this device is near to impossible. No more anonymous brand.

Interesting, neomode. Two questions: 1. Your firmware support the new CS008 with Realtek chip? 2. If it is yes, where/how I get your firmware?

Hello Miguel,

First thing all RK3288 TV Sticks use the same PCB. Even if you use a RKM one or from ENY with different Name. Only difference is Wifi chip. I will Upload the Firmware I make for it later. And yes it is for that Wifi Chip and Works perfect.

I had that problem for a long time; I was very frustrated with the CS008. I discovered the solution casually: the power adapter.

My CS008 came with a power adapter of 5v/2.0A and with it doesn't work good. Try it with a power adapter of 5v/2.5A; for me, that was the solution to the constant reboots.
